About Lee Yoon-Ryoung

For artist Lee Yoon-Ryoung, art is description of beauty in people, and flowers are symbols of beautiful things in us: love, friendship, purity, frustration in love, selfindulgence, and affection etc. Flowers symbolize a lot of things in our lives. In fact, we express our feelings through language of flowers. Tulip means affection of joy. Cosmos means pure love. Forget-me-nots means don’t forget me. Salvia means pure heart. Lily means purity. Edelweiss means precious
memories. Yellow daffodils mean love. White daffodils mean self-deduction. White rose means disappointment in love. Yellow rose means jealousy. Red rose means hot love. When you show your passionate love, you give a red rose. The moment you give white or yellow rose, you must risk becoming a victim of envy.
Artist Lee’s hope is that all of us realize all people are beautiful. To be beautiful, you must have a pure heart. And you need to look at things around you
as if you are looking at flowers.
